Moves that Matter festival was held between 24th of March and 1st of April, in Hague. The Award Ceremony took place in Theater aan het Spui, on the 29th of March. During this ceremony, the Golden Butterflies were given to the best film from the 'A Matter of ACT' competition. The winner of the Student’s Choice Award was announced on this evening, in which 15 students judged 8 human rights films and choosed their favorites.

Lysaifeni Wout and Tim Verheij from the Student jury handed out the Students' Choice Award, consisting of the Golden Butterfly and € 2.500 euro, to film maker Roland Vranik for 'The Citizen'. This touching fiction film tells the story of African refugee Wilson, who lives in Hungary and would like to be a Hungarian citizen. He falls in love with his teacher Mari and she returns his affections. But their relationship is complicated by Shririn, an illegal Iranian refugee who has moved in with Wilson and lives in hiding.

Earlier this year, Roland Vranik's movie about an African refugee in Budapest won the best film drama at the 27th Cinequest, in San Jose, and the Best Screenplay at Porto Fantasporto, in Portugal.
