Based in Hamburg, European Film Promotion promotes European films worldwide. The organization counts 37 member states from Portugal to Georgia, and Hungary takes an active part in its initiatives.
EFP offers assistance to European film professionals through numerous programs. The most important ones of these are the following. Shooting Starts, an event introducing the most talented European actors is organized at the Berlinale. EFP is represented in Cannes and in Toronto with the program called Producers on the Move, which offers a great opportunity to producers to build their international networks. The Future Frames section promotes emerging European film directors by presenting the best graduation films of the continent. Hungarian talents are often represented at these programs with great success.
