On Body and Soul to Premiere at the Berlinale

Cannes Camera d’Or winner Ildikó Enyedi’s romantic melodrama is an unusual love story set in the everyday world. The plot is based around the duality of sleeping and waking, mind and matter.

On Body and Soul explores a special relationship in a very special way. What would happen if you met someone who dreamt the same as you or, to be more precise, had been meeting you in the same world every night for years? Would you be pleased? Or would you feel that you had in some way been robbed? And what if this particular individual didn’t exactly appeal to you? What if you actually hated that person?

The film has been supported by the Hungarian National Film Fund, produced by Mónika Mécs and András Muhi (Inforg-M&M Film), starring Géza Morcsányi, Alexandra Borbély, Zoltán Schneider. The world premiere of On Body and Soul will be at the Official of Berlinale, among others with Aki Kaurismäki’s and Agnieszka Holland’s latests.
