5 Hungarian animations at Annecy
Symbiosis (Hu/Fr) by Nadja Andrasev will have its world premiere at the prestigious short film competition. The story is about a betrayed wife starts investigating her husband's mistresses. Her jealousy is gradually replaced by curiosity. Animated objects and 2D Computer were used techniques in the latest work by The Noise of Licking (2016, Cannes Cinéfondation 3rd Prize) creator.
Flóra Anna Buda: Entropia
In Graduation Shorts competition Entropia by Flóra Anna Buda and The Act of Breathing by Hanna Yamazakai have been invited. Entropia is a container encompassing three parallel universes where three women are living in different circumstances. The Act of Breathing’s concept is based on the physical and emotional behaviour of breathing. Both diploma films were produced by MOME Anim (Budapest) with the support of the Hungarian National Film Fund.
