Photo collection
Our collection numbering around half a million items contains film-related photographs starting from the silent age, from 1913 onwards. In our early collection are shots by the famous photographers, the Dunky brothers from Kolozsvár. There are also numerous works by Angelo, Tibor Inkey and János Manninger. We keep scene photos, ‘werkphotos’ taken on sets, star photos, that is, studio portraits, as well as photo material of films by Pannónia Film Studio.
You can also find some of our photos in the Filmfinder, the online database of the Film Archive, in the galleries linked to the films and the creators.
