The aim of the Amici del Future Film Festival Association is to promote and support the festival event, within the framework of more estensive actions aimed at the dissemination of the use of digital technologies in the field of images.

Future Film Festival
During the last seven years, Future Film Festival has emerged as the most important Italian event dedicated to animation and special effects. Every year, in Bologna, the most important art directors, film-directors and creative producers come to show their new movies, backstage of their successes and exclusive pictures from new productions. A preview of the future, but not only: Future Film Festival dedicates homages to the history of animated cinema, as well as meetings and events about new technologies application in other fields, such as web or videogames.
2005 edition boasts big numbers: more than 30.000 people during 145 events in the 5 days of the FFF; 440 works were presented; more than 430 journalists; 280 accredited students and 350 accredited professionals; more than 170 articles were published; more than 2.200.000 hits on the website during January.
